We are seeking people who have low vision and also make changes to color themes on Xbox consoles or PC’s to complete a brief survey.
The Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC) is looking for people who have low vision to take part in a web-based research project being conducted by Microsoft and Shepherd Center. The goal of this study is to gain an understanding of the experiences of individuals who have low vision and also make changes to color themes on Xbox consoles and their personal computer to help them see better.
To be eligible you must:1. Have a vision impairment - low vision2. Use high contrast themes3. Use an Xbox console or a personal computer4. Be 18 years of age or older5. Prefer English for reading and writing.6. Be a member of the Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC) by completing our member form at:
Participants will be asked to answer survey questions about color themes used and the changes to color that may be used to help them see better. Participation in the study will take about 15-20 minutes. At the end of the study, participants will each receive a $20 stipend for their time and effort.
