The goal of this study is to gain a broad understanding of screen reader usage and operating systems used among individuals who are blind or have very low vision.
The Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC) is looking for people who are blind or have very low vision to take part in a web-based research project being conducted by Microsoft and Shepherd Center.
To be eligible you must:1. Have a vision impairment - either blind or very low vision2. Be a screen reader user3. Be 18 years of age or older4. Prefer English for reading and writing.5. Be a member of the Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC) by completing our member form at:
Participants will be asked to answer survey questions about the screen readers and the operating systems that they use. Study duration will take about 10 minutes. At the end of the study, participants will each receive a $15 stipend for their time and effort.
