Do you identify as someone with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Asperger’s Syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dysgraphia? Are you a developer or IT Pro that uses the Cloud Services? We are seeking people who identify with these cognitive differences to provide feedback on their personal experiences using the Cloud Services.

The Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC) would like to invite people with cognitive differences, such as ASD, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD and dyslexia to provide feedback on Cloud Services in a research study being conducted by Microsoft.

Microsoft researchers are conducting an exploratory study to gather data on Cloud Service user persona and the overall usability experience of individuals with cognitive differences that use Cloud Services. Microsoft researchers would like to learn more about their experiences performing tasks via the website, creating code and using tools to interface libraries or packages to consume data or services from Cloud Services. Data gathered from this study will be used to improve the usability and accessibility of Microsoft products and services. It will help Microsoft researchers design a better user interface for the Azure platform so that individuals with all cognitive differences will feel more efficient and effective at performing key tasks.

To be eligible you must:

  • Have a cognitive difference (e.g. ASD, ADHD, dyslexia)

  • Use Cloud Services

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Prefer English for reading and writing

  • Be a member of the Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC)

Participants will be asked to answer questions about themselves, their technology use, their experiences using the Cloud Services. Study participation should take no more than 60 minutes and will be conducted via a video conferencing system. Following study completion each participant will receive a $50 stipend for their time and effort.

If you are interested in participating in this study, please use the automated Enrollment Form button at the bottom of this Study #84 information page.
